COP26 programme

As a cycling charity using bikes to do good actions for the environment, we’re thrilled that COP26 is coming to Glasgow. What a great opportunity to showcase some of the excellent work taking place around the city to tackle the effects of climate change.

Many of our projects encourage sustainable travel, educate on climate change awareness and provide low-case sustainable transport options that reduce carbon emissions around Glasgow.

To celebrate COP26, we have a number of events, activities and focus groups lined up at Bike for Good:

1st Nov:

“together we ride” celebration – cyclists and activists will share tales from the London–Glasgow adventure, learnings and climate solutions from collective land-based initiatives and protest camps, as well as communities from across the world. With short films and a call to action. Bring food and drink to share.

2nd Nov:

Spokes not Blokes – an evening of sustainable bike learning for all women and non-binary people. This will be a hands-on workshop on getting the most life out of your bike and which products to switch to reduce using harmful chemicals. Alongside the workshop, we will discuss the radical act that riding your bike is and how your bike can be a tool of protest.
