Diversity Statement of Intent

Bike for Good is proud of the work we do to encourage lots of different groups into the world of cycling: for example women, those on low incomes, and refugees.

However in light of the Black Lives Matter movement we at Bike for Good have been reflecting on the cycling industry: its whiteness, lack of diversity, and the racism that lives within it and how much more we need to do as an organisation.

We acknowledge that the publishing of this statement has been delayed. We have taken this time to thoroughly assess our approach.

We are committed to addressing unconscious racial biases and we pledge to address the lack of racial diversity at Bike for Good. We must show solidarity with the communities not currently represented in cycling, especially people of colour.
