Welcome to Bike for Good’s Climate Action Group: a team of enthusiastic and committed individuals who meet to mitigate Glasgow’s impact on our climate through practical solutions.

- Do you have 1-2 hours every quarter (every 4 months) to spare?
If your answers are yes, then you’re the perfect candidate to join the CAG!
The group will work to design and run climate change events, the aim of which being to inspire Bike for Good’s community to engage in conversations surrounding climate change, and to develop a better understanding of the environmental impacts our actions can have – with a particular focus on travel and transport. These events will be both virtual and in person (Covid restrictions permitting) and will range from talks to fairs to bike rides and beyond.
The Climate Action Group will also host quarterly ‘Cycle Chats’ where we’ll provide fertile ground for all cycle-related conversations to grow. We’ll have hints and tips for experienced or budding cyclists, discussions on global solutions to barriers to cycling, and a generally inviting space for climate-conscious cyclists to meet.
This first session will introduce you to the group’s aims and missions, and we’ll work to organise an online event which will take place early next year.
