Led ride to Falkirk Wheel
We will meet at Bike for Good Glasgow West at 9.30am for a quick safety check and bike loans.
From there we will move to Kelvin Way and the 754 National Cycle Route. The distance to Falkirk Wheel will be 24 miles one way. We will encourage you to cycle back the same way which will be 24 miles more! However there is the option to use the train / public transport for the return leg. This will be done through your own choice and at your own expense.
Have in mind the ride both ways will be 48 miles, a great day out riding.
Please bring lunch, bottle of water and other munchies for the road.
This ride is for adults. All rides will be conducted at a leisurely pace and participants should be capable of cycling the full distance. Bikes are available to borrow, but there is a limited quantity – so please contact us beforehand to book what you require.
Please note that the return time is just an estimate, it can be difficult to judge the timings of long group rides. Please keep this in mind when planning the rest of your day.
We have restricted parking in our car park, how ever you can park outside the premises at your own cost.
