A led ride to Loch Lomond via the number 7 National Cycle Route.
We’re hosting a led ride to Loch Lomond via the number 7 National Cycle Route.
We will meet at Bike for Good Glasgow West at 9.30am for a quick safety check and a chance to loan a bike.
From there, we will move to the number 7 National Cycle Route and follow this until we reach Balloch. The distance to Balloch will be around 20 miles. We will encourage you to cycle back the same way, although there is the option to use the train/public transport for the return leg. This will be done through your own choice and at your own expense.
These rides are open to adults and children. All rides will be conducted at a leisurely pace and participants should be capable of cycling the full distance. Bikes and child carrying equipment are available to borrow, but there is a limited quantity – so please contact us beforehand to book what you require.
Please note that the return time is just an estimate, it can be difficult to judge the timings of long group rides. Please keep this in mind when planning the rest of your day!
