Repair Café Glasgow is on a mission to save your items from waste.
This June, Repair Café are teaming up with Bike For Good. Our team will be on hand to take a look at all your basic bike repairs like punctured tyres and chain repairs, whilst Repair Cafe will be fixing everything from your favourite jaded jeans to your tired toasters.
Repair Cafés are a hands-on way to learn how this throwaway culture we live in fails both people and the planet. It is a practical step to doing something about it as we reduce our waste and share skills in our communities! On the day, we will also have tea, coffee and homemade baked goods, all on a pay-what-you-want basis.
Repair Café Glasgow is supported by the Climate Challenge Fund and European Regional Development Fund. The Climate Challenge Fund provides grants and support for community-led organisations to tackle climate change by running projects that reduce carbon local emissions. The European Regional Development Fund comes from the European Structural and Investment Fund which helps to facilitate major investments to support transformational change and economic and social structural reforms across Scotland.
