Please bear in mind that due to the nature of it being a group lesson it’s important for you to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time. This is so we can provide bikes and equipment as well as completing the necessary paperwork before going out on the ride.
These group lessons are mainly aimed at delivering Bikeability Level 1, which focuses on the core concepts of cycling, no on road training will take place.
Our group lesson times for both West End and Southside Hubs are below:
West Hub
- Friday (Open to All) – 03:15pm–04:30pm

Bike For Good is a registered charity and social enterprise that supports people to cycle as their mode of transport. In previous years we have been able to offer many of our services and activities for free thanks to external funding. However, public sector funding in Scotland has dropped significantly over recent years and for the current financial year sustainable and active travel has been badly hit by newly announced Scottish government spending cuts. We are, therefore, having to reluctantly introduce a tiered pricing structure which we hope will enable us to remain financially viable while continuing to reach as many people as we can.
One to One Lesson Prices are listed below:
- Subsidised price – £25
- Standard price – £45
- Supporter rate – £65
Group Lesson Prices are listed below:
- Subsidised price – £10
- Standard price – £15
- Supporter rate – £25
If you have the means, we would be delighted if you’d consider the Supporter Rate. This means you’ll effectively be paying-it-forward to help those who need it most!
If you would otherwise be unable to participate due to low or no income, please email: activetravel@bikeforgood.org.uk or telephone 07579848249. We may be able to support you via funding, or signpost you to local community grants and funds.
